Over and Over Again

If the world rejects me,
And He accepts me,
It’s a brighter day,
A clear passage way.
It’s never easy I’ve been told,
Take my life and create a mold,
One to represent You,
Love and Faith gets me through,
Pennies in my pocket,
An empty heart in a locket,
As if I don’t belong,
The world sees me doing wrong,
Yet, right by His eyes,
Leaving behind deceit and unworthy lies.
The Devil has taken my every good,
Drove me away from something misunderstood,
Now I’ve come to see,
That loving You is all that is required of me.
Unexplained blessings I finally believe,
A life full of greatness is what I hope to achieve.
